Open to company, Organizations and Institutions
To become a member, and to maintain GABS membership, your company or Organization must:
Currently be registered with operations and core activities pertaining to Africa.
Apply for membership by submitting a duly completed application form.
Payment of the annual subscription, determined by the Management board of GABS annually.
Be legally registered and properly established under the relevant national laws.
Operate from a functioning office.
Maintain governance structures and processes that take account of the needs of various stakeholders.
A formal undertaking to abide by the rules and regulations governing ordinary membership.
Renew annual membership by payment of the annual subscription fees.
– Basic membership shall have the following rights:
Participate fully in the decision making procedures of GABS.
Demand access to the services provided by, or in partnership with, GABS and as available and designed at that time. These services include (but are not limited to) access to Technical Assistance Fund and to capacity building services such as Internship programs, trainings…
Participate in all decision-making and consultative forums of GABS, and to propose their representatives as candidates for election to any elected office within GABS
Basic membership shall have the following obligations:
Commit to paying an annual fee as set by the Board of GABS.
Obliged at all times to uphold the values of GABS and the corporate social responsibility of GABS and to represent GABS in a positive light to the public at large.
